State of Emergency Declared in Kassala State

Kassala (SUNA) – Council of Ministers of Government of Kassala State declared a state of emergency in the State as of Sunday of August 30 for three months with the possibility of renewal.

The order of emergency vested the concerned authorities  power of banning  and  entry of persons and means of transport  fpr a time specified in the declaration , entry or examining uf   any buildings ,scrutinizing   persons suspected of holding  firearms along with confiscating them  according to the  law.

The state of emergency also ordered arrest of any persons who are suspected accomplices in any crimes violating the law or threatening security and social peace in the State.
