Al-Debello Receives Leader of Sudan Liberation Movement

The commander Mustafa Nasr-Eddin Tambor, of Sudan Liberation Movement, Saturday arrived in Khartoum coming from the capital of South Sudan State, after joining the peace process and following negotiations sponsored by South Sudan’s mediator, Tut Gulwak.

Tambor was received by the Chairman of the Peace Commission, Dr. Suleiman Al-Debello, and leading figures o Sudan Liberation Movement in Khartoum.

In a statement upon arrival in Khartoum, he lauded the role of the glorious December revolution’s martyrs in removing the former regime and contributing to the peace process.

He pointed to their response to the peace call from the South Sudanese mediator after negotiations that lasted for 60 days in Juba and culminated in the signing of his movement to the peace document.

He said that the reasons for the continuation of war have now ended forever, affirming the full readiness of the Sudan Liberation Movement to work in building the new Sudan project to achieve development within the peace partners.

Tambor stated that his movement will work with all the political components to build a new Sudan that accommodates everyone, indicating that his movement will also work for the return of the displaced and refugees and addressing all the reasons that led to the displacement and asylum.

He added that Sudan Liberation Movement They will coordinate efforts with the judicial authorities to achieve justice and not give the perpetrators of violations the opportunity to escape from the law.
