Minister of Finance reviews with TDB opportunities for financing development projects

The Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Jibril Ibrahim reviewed, at his office today, with the delegation of the Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development Bank (TDB), led by its President Emeritus and Managing Director Admassu Tadesse, the Economic opportunities in the financing sector in Sudan and the possibility of converting them into development projects that drive Sudan economy to achieve the required growth.

 

Tadesse said that the opportunities available in the country in each of the banking, credit and agricultural sectors naturally serve to stimulate investment in Sudan, explaining the bank’s desire to enter the financing and trade sector through smart partnerships with the state.

 

TDB Managing Director added that the bank spread regionally and globally and has a good reputation and strong global banking relations. He affirmed that TDB entry to Sudan would add value to the banking sector, especially credit, which will open the door for Sudan to integrate to the global banking systems, which lead to facilitation of trade and economic growth.
