Call of People of Sudan Affirms Continuation of Efforts to complete Transitional Period

The executive chief of the initiative of Sudan people’s call for national consensus, Dr. Hashim Gariballa, has affirmed the continuation of the understandings with the political forces and organizations to reach formation of a transitional government with credibility and competencies that work to achieve the requirements of the transitional period.

At a press conference held by the initiative on Wednesday at Eiwa Hotel, Dr. Gariballa said that the initiative sponsors have toured all the states in the country and met with all the political components who expressed their support to the call for national consensus.

He said that the current move for achieving accord has followed the launching of the initiative of Sudan people’s call for national consensus, calling on all the political forces to elevate the national interest.

The member of the initiative’s executive committee, Bahar Idris Abu-Garda stressed the importance of agreement on a united formula to complete the transitional period, expressing his welcome to any initiative for achieving the interest of Sudan and realizing national accord.

He also affirmed the importance of collective work and refrain from exclusion to any party.

Abu-Garda has called for formation of a government of independent and credible national competencies who are concerned with the livelihood of the people and the completion of the structures of the transitional

period, in accordance with a binding agreement for the sake of democratic transformation.

The representative of the political parties, Farah Aggar said at the press conference that the initiative aims for achieving a better future, the unity of the people of Sudan and meeting the people’s aspirations, affirming importance of work to expand the scope of participation.

The head of the youth committee at the initiative of the Sudan people’s call for national consensus, Isam Al-Shawani, stated that the initiative is based on the principles of dialogue and consensus between all the people of Sudan toward achieving peace and stability, adding that any incomplete settlement will have negative impacts on the future of Sudan.
