FM starts African tour

Foreign Minister.Dr Mariam Al-Sadig Al-Mahdi leading a diplomatic, legal and technical delegation started an African tour that takes her to each of Ghana, Senegal and Niger.

The tour aims at mobilizing African support for Sudan stance on reaching a binding legal agreement on the filling and operation of the Great Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD).

The minister, during the African tour, will meet the heads of the state in these countries to review the Renaissance Dam dossier and the issues of mutual concern.
