Dagalo calls on Beja tribes to unite

– The Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant-General Muohammed Hamdan Dagalo, called on all the Beja tribes in general to unite the ranks and raise the national spirit  for the country progress. During his address to  Al-Bani Amer and Al-Habbab youth gathering in Dar Al-Bani Amer yesterday evening, Dagalo asserted the need to forget the past and consider the higher interest for the coexistence of all tribes of the East coexist, indicating creation of problems between tribes by politicians. Dagalo pointed to the honor decisions issued by the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereign Council, stressing the need for peaceful coexistence with the border tribes with Sudan. Dagalo indicated that the committees formed for reparation and the administrative border capable of solving all problems, warning against sedition, commending the signed goodwill document. Dagalo emphasized the handing over power after a national accord that leads to the elections, stressing that any negative talk in this regard is unacceptable. He affirmed the youth of Al-Bunni Amer and Al-Habbab that they will not stand with any tribe against the other, with the work and coordination with each other to renounce racism, tribalism and regionalism. Red Sea state acting governor, Ali Abdullah Adrob, on his part pledged to remove division between the tribes and the move forward, stressing that work to gather all the leaders of the Beja tribes to make reconciliation between them. ta
