The President of Djibouti, Ismaïl Omar Guelleh, Wednesday received at the Presidential Palace in Djibouti Sudan acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Al-Saddiq, and the General Director of the Security and Intelligence Service, Gen. Ahmed Ibrahim Mufadal, and the accompanying delegation.

The acting Minister of Foreign Affairs has handed President Guelleh a written message from the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council dealing with the means to strengthen the cooperation, coordination and consultation between the two countries on issues of the region and the arrangements for the extraordinary UGAD summit, scheduled for Nairobi on July 5th.

The meeting was preceded by talks between the Foreign Ministers of the two countries, which discussed a number of bilateral cooperation files and regional issues, and the two sides agreed to convene the joint ministerial committee between the two countries as soon as possible.
