Al-Deqair elected president of SCP and Mastour presidenT of Central Council

The Elections Committee of the 6th General Conference of the Sudanese Congress Party announced today the re-election of candidate Omar Youssef Al-Deqair as head of the party for a new term, and candidate Mastour Ahmed Mohamed was also elected head of the Central Council of Party.

The sessions of the 6th General Conference of the SCP began yesterday, Thursday, with closed sessions in which the session address and the budget were approved and the political document was discussed. The sessions continued today, Friday, with a discussion of the constitution of the SCP and the election of the party’s president and the head of the Central Council.

The 6th General Conference will conclude its work tomorrow, Saturday, with an open session in the Friendship Hall.

It is worth noting that the position of Chairman of the Central Council was contested by Mr. Iqbal Ahmed Ali, Eng. Mohamed Youssef Sayed Ahmed, and Mr. Mastour Ahmed.
