Spain Affirms readiness to support Sudan to overcome economic difficulties

Khartoum,  (SUNA) – Foreign Minister, Dr. Mariam Al-Saddig Al-Mahdi received, Thursday, a telephone call from her Spanish counterpart,  Arancha González Laya dealing with the development of the bilateral relations between the two countries.

The minister appreciated the Spanish support to Sudan via the European Union, affirming the country’s keenness to establish firm relations with the countries of the world to serve peace, development and joint interests.

The Spanish Minister, on her part, has expressed her country’s appreciation to what was achieved by Sudan concerning the democratic transition and strengthening of woman effective role, affirming readiness to support Sudan to overcome the economic difficulties.
