Dr. Graham: Sudan’s participation in meeting of Arab Information Ministers successful

Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Graham Abdel-Gader, chairperson of the 51st session of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, has described Sudan’s participation in the session held recently in Cairo as successful.

In a statement to SUNA, the Minister said he addressed the opening session of the conference and highlighted the ongoing arrangements for Arab action related to strengthening joint media work in accordance with a unified strategy to spread a culture of tolerance and peace in light of global changes and to work together in building consensus and collective mind that serves Arab legitimate aspirations towards security, stability, prosperity and sustainable development.

This besides joint work to complete and implement the Arab media strategy and crystallize its objectives to the fullest, as well as consensus on the Arab media code of ethics, which boosts commitment of Arab media to professional and ethical values ​​and principles.

Dr. Graham pointed out that on the sidelines of the meetings they met with Egyptian President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, especially since the presidency of the session has moved to the Arab Republic of Egypt, where he handed it over to Karam Gabr, head of the Supreme Council for Media Regulation in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
