Court Trying Case of Martyr Mahgoub Al-Taj Continues Sittings

– The advocates for the private rights in the case of Martyr Mahgoub Al-Taj have demanded Monday the continuation of the former judge, Zuhair Babiker Abdul-Raziq, in heading the court trying the case because he is familiar with the details that took place for a long time, as he is more familiar with the case, affirming their confidence in the current judge, who was appointed by the Chief Justice.

In the court’s sitting on Monday, the judge of the court, Osman Abdul-Gadir, affirmed that he was appointed by the competent judicial authorities, and that this appointment is the duty to the concerned authorities according to their estimation, indicating that every lawyer in the case of martyr Al-Taj have to submit a request to the Chief Justice because he is the concerned authority.

The court is due to continue its sittings on March 20, 2023.
