The court for ruling in the case of assassination of martyr Mahgoub Al-Taj , the student of Al-Razi University, Faculty of Medicine, Monday resumed interrogation of the seventh, eighth, ninth, 10th and 11 accused persons.
The 10th defendant, Fath Al-Rahman Mohamed Mustafa, admitted that he hit the martyr on the shoulder and neck, denying that he had hit him in the forehead or that the martyr had fallen on the ground due to his hitting to him, indicating that he left the martyr after telling him that he had diabetes and asthma.
The court, chaired by the Judge Zuhair Babiker Abdul-Razeq, adjourned its session to next Monday, in order to re-interrogate a number of the accused persons, and obliged the prosecution to bring a large screen display to match the videos taken at the moment of the event so that all aspects of the viewing angles become clear and to identify all the persons who were in event place.
The seventh accused, Mahmoud Mohamed Abdul-Aziz, stated during his interrogation before the court that after examining the martyr and touching him with a stick, it became clear to him that the martyr was alive as he moved his hand, indicating that he then informed some of the force members to help him, as he was transferred by a pickup car to the hospital.
He said that the instructions for moving in any operation were not known to anyone except the commander of
the moving force.
