Civil defense teams return home after participation in rescue operations in Turkey

– The Sudanese  search and rescue teams arrived in the country early Monday after completing a nine –day task in Turkish province of  Dairyman.

The mission was  part of package of  assistance which the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council(TSC) and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Gen. Abdel-Fattah Al-Bruhn has directed to be  dispatched  to Turkey  for supporting the sister Turkish people  in its calamity of earthquake which hit  south  Turkey and caused a massive destruction  in some of its areas

It is worth mentioning that the mission included assistance provided by the Armed Forces in addition to search and rescue teams affiliated to the Civil Defense Forces.

The teams were  received at  Khartoum airport’s VIP Lounge by the Director of Civil Defense Forces Lt-Gen. (police) Osman Al-Ata, heads of Civil Defense Forces departments , and representatives of the Armed Forces.
