Burtom chairs first coordinating meeting between River Nile, Northern States

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Abual-Gasim Mohmed Mohamed Ahmed Burtom chaired today at the Republican Palace the first  coordinating meeting between the Northern and River Nile States in  the  presence of acting  governors of  the two states.

The meeting affirmed the importance of coordination between the two states in various fields to allow the northern region being able to provide the basic services to the people.

The Acting Wali of Northern State Al-Baqir Ahmed Ali explained  in a  press statement  that  the coordination meeting between  the two states would  be a  regular one  to be hosted  alternatively  in Dongola and Al-Damar, the capitals of the two states, to discuss the issues of the northern region.

On his part, Wali of River Nile State, Mohamed Al -Badawi Abdel-Majed considered the first coordinating meeting as a successful start, towards strong and coherence region.
