– The Secretary General of the National Umma Party, Al-Wathiq Al-Berair, has praised the efforts of the political leadership in Egypt to support the Sudanese people in all times and crises.
In an address he gave at a celebration held by the National Umma Party to mark the distribution of 36 scholarships assigned by Al-Azhar Al-Sharif for Sudanese students, Al-Berair expressed the Umma Party’s appreciation of the cooperation between Egypt and the National Umma Party, stressing that Egypt is always keen to support its brothers in Sudan and to promote the scientific qualifications of the people of Sudan.
He affirmed that the students who were selected for the Egyptian scholarship were chosen with great care and transparency and without discrimination, transparency or political affiliations, adding they represent all the regions and states in Sudan.
Al-Berair has praised the efforts of the Ambassador of Egypt, Hussam Eissa, in bringing closer the views and opening horizons for cooperation and dialogue at all levels, fields and sectors, pointing to his great role in the Egyptian assistance to the Sudanese people.
