TSC Vice-President affirms firmness of Sudanese-Egyptian relations

Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council(TSC) Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo has underscored strength of the Sudanese-Egyptian relations  and described them as have specialty and deeply-rooted in history. .

The TSC Vice-President discussed  during meeting with  ambassador of Egypt to Sudan, Husam Issa at the Republican Palace today overall relations between Khartoum and Cairo  and ways and means of  developing aspectys of joint cooperation  in the various  domains.

Ambassador Issa  said  in a press statement that the meeting  focused on the joint strategic projects between the two countries  and importance of coordination  over vital interests that link the two countries.

He stated that the meeting reaffirmed  importance of making use of potentialities  and ample  opportunities  the two countries are endowed  for implementation of the  joint projects  during the coming period, referring  to identical of views over issues tackled by the meeting.

The Egyptian ambassador  pointed out that the meeting also  discussed the  humanitarian assistance provided by Egypt to torrents and torrential raions-affected people in Sudan.
