Third shipment of American wheat Grant Arrives in Port Sudan

48 thousand tons of wheat arrived at the North Port Sudan port, which is the third batch out of six batches that will arrive successively, within the framework of the US wheat grant to the Sudanese people.

The Governor of the Red Sea State, Engineer Abdullah Shangaray, addressed the occasion, lauded the developing Sudanese-American relations, expressing thanks and appreciation for the American people’s supportive stances for Sudan. He indicated to Sudan’s openness to the outside world and its impact on the development of international cooperation with the country.

The Director General of the Sea Ports Corporation, Captain, Onur Adam Sultan, affirmed the corporation’s readiness to receive all external support, in addition to its role in the reactivation of external trade and supporting the national economy via the maritime transport system
