The Vice President of TSC demands sincerity of intentions in implementing Juba agreement

The Vice President of Transitional Soverignity Council General Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, Commander of the Rapid Support Forces, renewed the state’s commitment to implementing the Juba Sudan Peace Agreement, calling for showing sincerity of intentions in implementing the agreement.

Gen. Dagalo during his address this evening at the High Security Academy in Khartoum, called for the conclusion of a workshop explaining the updated matrix of the Juba Peace Agreement, he called for the need to pay attention to peace issues, especially the issue of the displaced and refugees and their return to their original villagesm, urging the bearers of arms to join the country’s peace process.

The Vice President of TSC received the recommendations of the workshop and promised to implement the updated matrix, expressing gratitude and appreciation to the Government of Southern Sudan for hosting the Sudanese negotiations that culminated in the signing of peace.

On his part, Dr. Dhieu Matouk, Secretary of the Southern Sudan Mediation, explained that the workshop identified the ministries and institutions concerned with the implementation of the peace agreement, describing the step as a big one.
