Spokesman of SPLM – North Delegation: Agreement Reached on Most of Controversial Issues

The spokesman of Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) – North delegation, led by Abdul-Aziz Al-Hillu, Kuku Mohamed Jagdoul, announced that the two parties have achieved agreement on most of the controversial issues, affirming the desire of the two parties to reach a comprehensive agreement.

He said in a press statement that a positive spirit has prevailed during the talks with the government, a matter that refer to the possibility of achieving a comprehensive and sustainable peace agreement.

Jagdoul pointed out that the two parties discussed Thursday in morning and evening sittings most of the issues in the government response to the paper of the People’s Movement.

He expressed promise to the Sudanese people that the two parties are determined to discuss the root causes of the Sudanese question for reaching a solution.
