Secretary of Religious Coexistence Council calls for transparent social dialogue

The Secretary General of the Council of Religious Coexistence, Dr. Eman Al-Ghattas, has affirmed the importance of restoring the role of the Sudanese Religious Coexistence Council in activating transparent and honest dialogue to build bridges between the components of the Sudanese society.

Al-Ghattas said in statement to SUNA that the council works for unifying efforts among all various social components.

She stressed that it is high time to renounce differences and move towards achieving the state of respect of human rights, dignity, and rally around what achieves peace.

It is to be noted that Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Member Dr. Salma Abdel-Jabar Al-Mubarak met yesterday a delegation of Religious Coexistence Council and was informed on the role being played by the council in boosting the values and principles of religious tolerance.
