Representative Director General of UN Office in Nairobi Receives Credentials of Sudan’s Representative

The Director General of the United Nations Office in Nairobi  , Zainab Hawa Bangura, has received the credentials of Ambassador Kamal Jobara Mohamed as the Permanent Representative of Sudan to the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Nairobi, including the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat).  During the meeting, the Sudan’s Representative conveyed the greetings of the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs to the Director General of the UN Office and expressed his appreciation fof the  opportunity to serve his country through this mission, hoping to strengthen further relations between Sudan and the United Nations Office and other international organizations in Nairobi. On her part,  the Director General of UN Office in Nairobi has welcomed Ambassador Kamal Jobara Mohamed, as a Permanent Representative of Sudan to the United Nations Office in Nairobi, expressing her pleasure that Sudan would push forward the projects of the Office and its various activities.  She gave the ambassador a briefing on the nature and activities of the United Nations Office in Nairobi, saying that the Office includes regional offices for all United Nations specialized agencies and expressed her aspiration for Sudan’s cooperation and contribution to the development of the Office’s work/  HE/MO
