Meeting at Republican Palace today to set new date for signing Final Framework Agreement

The official spokesman for the political process, Engineer Khaled Omar Youssef, announced that a meeting will be held at exactly one o’clock this afternoon, Saturday, the first of April 1, at the Republican Palace, including the civil and military parties that signed the framework agreement and the tripartite mechanism to set a new date for the signing of the final political agreement, which could not be signed in the set time due to the lack of consensus on some outstanding issues.

He added that all parties will continue engagement in serious discussions, in order to overcome the recent obstacles on the way to reaching an agreement that restores the path of civil democratic transition, “according to which a civilian government is formed to lead the transition period, and lift the suffering of the people, who have never backed down from achieving their goals” the spokesman indicated.
