Indian Ambassador Reaffirms Boosting of Sudanese-Indian Relations in Agricultural Field

The Indian Ambassador to Sudan, HE Mubarak Bawa Syed, has reaffirmed the importance of boosting the Sudanese-Indian relations, especially in the agricultural field.

The ambassador reviewed at the Third Session of Sudan International Agricultural Forum held recently at the Friendship Hall in Khartoum, India’s agricultural potential, which includes agricultural machinery, agrochemical industry and improved seeds.

He explained that India exported to Sudan about 2,500 agricultural tractors, pointing out that Indian exports to Sudan include agricultural machinery, irrigation equipment, sugar, rice and spices, while Sudanese exports to India include sesame, peanuts and watermelon seeds, stressing the possibility of exporting other Sudanese agricultural products to India.
