FM Undersecretary meets Russian Ambassador on the occasion of expiry of his assignment to Sudan

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Daffallah Al-Haj Ali met, at his office Thursday, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Sudan Vladimir Zheltov on the occasion of expiry of his assignment to Sudan.

The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed his appreciation for the efforts exerted by the Russian ambassador for the promotion and development of the Sudanese-Russian relations in various fields, reiterating the continuation of cooperation between the two countries at the bilateral and international levels, pledging to facilitate the mission of the new Russian ambassador and enable him to perform his assignment.

For his part, the Russian ambassador expressed his sincere gratitude for the good cooperation he found from the officials in Sudan and the spirit of welcome he found from the Sudanese people during his assignment in the country, pointing out that during his assignment he witnessed major transformations on the domestic and international arenas, expressing his pride in his relationship with the Sudan, government and people, stressing that he will remain loyal to this friendship in the course of his diplomatic and official work
