The court for trial of the case of protestors’ killing has decided to summon the Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, to give his testimony as a prosecution witness in the court’s sitting on Wednesday, October 12th.
The court, headed by Judge Zuhair Abdul-Raziq, will also hear on Wednesday, October 5th the complainant in the case Engineer Abdul-Bagi Ahmed, the father of martyr Al-Nazeer Abdul-Bagi, who was killed before the Armed Forces’ General Command on April 19, 2019.
Meanwhile, the investigator in the case, Prosecutor Abdul-Rahim Al-Khair, has completed presenting the prosecution documents against the defendants – the ousted president Omer Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir, the former Vice – President Ali Osman Mohamed Taha, the chairman of the dissolved National Congress Part, Ahmed Mohamed Haroun, and the speaker of the former Parliament, Al-Fatih Izz-Eddin.
In the prosecution document (507), the third defendant
Ahmed Haroun, who was a former Wali (governor) of North Darfur State, appears in a video addressing regular forces and urging them that he wanted no prisoners who pose an (administrative burden), by his advocate stated that this document has nothing to do with the case.
Another video document shows the fourth defendant Al-Fatih Izz-Eddin threatening the demonstrators of the Communist and Baath parties and the rogues that they will be beheaded if they take up arms against the regime.
