Commander-in-Chief offers condolences on Armed Forces’ martyrs

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, this evening, offered condolences to the families of the two martyrs, Colonel Abdel-Azim Issa, in the city of Salha, south of Omdurman, who was martyred in the city of Nyala last Sunday, the 2nd of April 2023, following an attempt by gunmen to loot the military vehicle he was traveling in.

President of the TSC also offered condolences to the family of martyr Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Mohamed Ali, in Al-Nakhil City, who was martyred last night, April 6, in Zalingei, after he was shot by gunmen who looted the military vehicle he was traveling in.

The two martyred officers were killed in two similar incidents, while efforts of the joint forces in Nyala and Zalingei are continuing to arrest the perpetrators.
