China Foreign Ministry Affirms Firmness of Relations between Sudan and China

Beijing,  (SUNA) – Deputy Director of West Asia and North Africa Department at the Chinese Foreign Ministry has affirmed progress and firmness of the eternal relations between Sudan and China at all levels.
During his meeting Tuesday at the Chinese Foreign Ministry with the visiting Sudanese media delegation, the Chinese official said that the most important policies of China includes consolidating relations with peoples and contributing to the creation of sustainable development and establishing mutual relations with countries to contribute to the achievement of these goals far away from interference in the internal policies of countries.

He stressed that China will continue to support Sudan at all the international forums, stressing the need to strengthen further the cultural relations with Sudan, pointing to the historical depth of Sudan in the ancient Kingdom of Kush and its extension to the north.

He pointed to the plan of his country for achieving more openness in the relations between China and the Arab and African countries.

He also referred to the attempts of the West to impose domination on the developing countries to achieve its own interests, calling for the development of the African countries and their peoples, pointing out that the developed countries fear that the developing countries will achieve progress and surpass them.

He gave a briefing on the concept of Silk Road which aims for realizing development for all the countries along the road through a genuine partnership with China.
