– Deputy Chairperson of the Sudanese Businessmen and Employers Federation for States Affairs, Bushara Suleiman Nour Abdel-Rahman has affirmed that achieving stability of the exchange rate of the national currency is one of the most important priorities that the Federation’s Steering Committee is working on to support the efforts made in this regard.

Abdel-Rahman stressed in a statement to SUNA the need to pay attention to stimulating exports, combating smuggling and achieving value-added chains for Sudanese products in order to raise the value of the Sudanese pound and achieve economic stability.

He said that the federation will work during the coming period to implement an action plan to benefit from Sudan’s geographical location due to the presence of a number of neighboring countries by revitalizing and legalizing border trade to serve the interests of neighboring states and the national economy.
