Brig. Abu-Hajja: October 25 is Milestone in Transitional Period

The Media Advisor of the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Brig. Dr. Al-Taher Abu-Hajja, said that the date of October 25 represents a milestone in the transitional period and a pivotal turning point that puts the country in the right strategic political track that supports national cohesion, comprehensive national consensus among all the people of Sudan, stands firmly against all the attempts to monopolize power in this period and supports comprehensive dialogue.

In a press circular, a copy of which was received by SUNA, Brig. Abu-Hajja pointed out that the coming period is one for building the institutions of proper transition, a period of a civil service free from partisan quotas and diseases of empowerment that have weaken our country for a long time, it is the period of competencies and work for the advancement of the country.

He stressed that the time of trading in slogans is over, and the next period is one for dedication, sincerity and production.

Brig. Abu-Hajja called for tolerance and surpassing of minor things, and upholding the national spirit for the sake of the country, because Sudan needs all its sons at this important stage of its history so that everyone can participate in the building of the homeland that accommodates everyone and provides them with security, prosperity, tranquility and peace, and through them a democratic transition can be reached.
