Appeals Committee for Decisions of the Empowerment Removal Committee Holds First Meeting

The appeals committee for the decisions taken by the committee for removal of empowerment, combating corruption and recovering of public money, which was reformed by the Transitional Sovereignty Council recently Monday held its first meeting at the Republican Palace, which was headed by the member of the Sovereignty Council, Raja Nichola Abdul-Masseh, and in the presence of the committee’s chairman, Yousif Jad-Karim, and membership of the representatives of the Judiciary, the Ministry of Justice and the Attorney General.

The committee discussed the ongoing arrangements to format the sub-committees, which will help the committee to follow up the procedural and legal integrity, and to review and to rule in the appeals submitted against the decisions issued by the committee for removal of empowerment, combating corruption and recovering of public money, which has terminated the services of a number of employees in the country.

The meeting assured the importance of expediting start of the commission to its work and tasks as soon as possible
