Al-Fekki: External Platforms Aim to Exploit Sudan to Serve Agenda in Region

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Mohamed Al-Fekki Suleiman, has disclosed the existence of external circles run by three countries, he did not name, that they manage to exploit the country to serve their certain agenda in the region, stressing the need to conduct transparent discussions and to know who is exploiting the country to settle a specific political agenda.

Addressing Monday at the Grand Holiday Villa Hotel the Workshop on Peace Media, Al-Fekki affirmed importance of the media and refrain from sabotaging the existing media climate so as not to deviate from its primary mission in supporting decision makers.

The Workshop on Peace Media was organized by the National Peace Commission, Article Centre for Media Training and Production and the UN Development Program (UNDP).

Al-Fekki said that the measures to purify the media climate are part of the real confrontation and the move to remove fake accounts, referring to the complementary role and what was announced by the Ministry of Culture and Information regarding the dealing with these platforms.

He pointed to the remarkable progress achieved in the peace issues and the delay in the transition issues file, calling for the unity of efforts to expedite the efforts in the transition issues file.

Al-Fekki has stressed the importance of continuous training to enhance the media work, adding that all the state’s institutions are needy for modernization to cope with the progress.
