Agreements Expected to be Signed by Sudan Delegation at Investment Forum

Sudan Delegation arrived Sunday in the United Arab Emirates to participate in the Annual Investment Forum, headed by the Minister of Investment, Ihlam Mahdi.

She inspected the Sudan Pavilion at the exhibition and the latest arrangements to receive visitors from all over the world on March 29th.

Ihlam said that the Sudan participation in the Forum provides an opportunity to promote for investment, outlining that 800 participants from more than 30 countries will join the Forum, including Sudan.

She praised the great role of the United Arab Emirates, represented in the Ministry of Economy in sponsoring of this event, and for its efforts to provide opportunities for countries from around the world to come and to promote for their projects in the Forum, which is considered one of the most importance investment gatherings to discuss and to be informed on the latest progress in the promotion for the investment issues globally.

“It is expected that we will sign at this forum a number of agreements with companies that have the desire to invest in Sudan,” the minister said.

She said that the forum has received a great turnout from all countries of the world, a matter that provides real knowledge base and latest information on the developments on the direct foreign investment, and all the issues related to the investment opportunities, adding that the forum is considered a

stimulating platform for investment opportunities.
