​​​​​​​FM lauds Japanese continued Support to Sudan

Foreign Minister, Dr. Maiam Al-Sadig Al-Mahdi has commended the Japanese continued support to Sudan extended through the Japanese Agency for International Cooperation (JICA) in all fields.

This came when the FM met, Wednesday, at her office the Japanese Ambassador to Sudan and reviewed with him the necessity for strengthening the strategic cooperation relations between the two countries and benefitting from the distinguished Japanese experience in basic education, vocational training and capacity building fields.

The Japanese Ambassador lauded the achievements realized by the Government of the during the last two years and Sudan openness to the international community, affirming his country’s full support and its keenness to make new partnerships to strengthen the economic, industrial, investment cooperation between the public and private institutions in the two sisterly countries.

The meeting also, discussed means for implementation of the Initiative (Free and Open Indo-Pacific) which aims at maintaining security and stability, besides the regional economic prosperity between African and Asian continents.
