Yasser Al-Atta Meets Private Schools Union

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) , Lieutenant-General Yasser Al-Atta, met Monday in his office at the Republican Palace, a delegation from the Private Schools Union with the participation of the Federal Ministry of Education, Ministry of Federal Governance , the Unified Resources Development and Collection Authority of Khartoum state.

The head of the Private Schools Union, Dr. Bahaa El Din Sayed Ahmad, said in a press statement that the meeting discussed issues regarding the education, most notably the 2% fee and the issue of the secondary certificate’s receipt, adding that the union demanded the activation of the Cabinet of ministers Decision No .153 on exempting education from all fees and direct and indirect taxes.

Dr. Bahaa El Din, pointed out that the meetings will continue to complete the consultations to resolve the issues of public and private education so that the school year stabilizes and runs well and without obstacles.
