The Vice-President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC), Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, accompanied by TSC Members, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris and Al-Taher Abu-Bakr Hajar besides Deputy Chief of Staff – Operations Lt. Gen. Khalid Abdeen, arrived in El Fasher, capital of North Darfur, today for the graduation of the first batch of forces for keeping security and civilian protection, who number 2000.
The graduation of this batch comes in implementation of the security arrangements clause of Juba Agreement on Peace in Sudan.
Daglo was received upon arrival by the Governor of Darfur Region, Minni Arko Minawi, Wali of North Darfur State, Nimir Abdel-Rahman and political, social and cultural leaders.
