Sudan participates in meeting of Arab ministerial council

Acting Foreign Minister Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq Ali has participated in the meeting of the 158th ordinary session of the Council of Arab Foreign Ministers at the headquarters of the League of Arab States.

The meeting discussed the most prominent issues of the Arab region in light of the current global developments, including food security and energy security for Arab countries, in addition to developments in Arab issues, foremost of which is the Palestinian issue, and the strengthening of joint Arab action and cooperation relations between Arab countries and regional and international organizations.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs met with Ahmed Aboul Gheit, Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, on the sidelines of the meeting, and he briefed the Secretary-General on the developments of the political process in the country with the aim of forming a civilian government.

He also thanked the Secretary-General for the tweets he published regarding the Arab League’s solidarity with Sudan In the face of floods and torrential rains that hit parts of the country.
