Shipment of 20,000 tons of wheat arrives at Port Sudan from Russia

A shipment of 20,000 tons of wheat arrived today at Port Sudan harbor in the context of the Russian grant to Sudanese people.

Deputy Wali (governor) of Red Sea State Fathalla Al-Haj, who received the grant, expressed thanks and appreciation to Russian people for this considerable support, praising the distinguished relations between Sudan and Russia.

The Russian Consul to Sudan, meanwhile, described the relations between the two countries as deeply rooted and strong, asserting continuity of his country’s support to Sudan, hoping prosperity and progress for the Sudanese people.

On his part, Humanitarian Aid Commissioner Najm-Eddin Musa, expressed thanks of the Sudanese people to the friendly Russian people, pointing out that the Russian grant incarnates the distinguished relations between the two countries.
