President of Sovereignty Council Visits Sudan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai

The President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, Saturday visited the Expo 2020 Dubai  and praised during his visit to the Sudan Pavilion in the exhibition the efforts made to reflect the bright image of Sudan and the large material and human capabilities that Sudan obtains.

He indicated that the Expo 2020 Dubai is a reflection of the renaissance and growth of the United Arab Emirates and its keeping pace with modern developments in the world.

Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan announced the government and the people support to Sudan pavilion in Expo 2020 Dubai so that the exhibition achieves the desired goals, praising the youth’s capabilities in achieving the aspirations of the Sudanese people for progress and prosperity.

During his tour of the UAE pavilion in the exhibition, Al-Burhan was informed on the history and heritage of the UAE people and the stages of growth and renaissance witnessed by the United Arab Emirates.

Sudan Embassy in Abu Dhabi, Ambassador Ahmed Abdul-Rahman, has welcomed the visit of the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and his accompanying delegation to Sudan Pavilion in the Expo 2020 Dubai, describing the participation of Sudan in the exhibition as appreciated and distinguished and aimed at reflecting the capabilities that Sudan enjoys.

The chairperson of Sudan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, Nabawiya Mohamed Mahjoub, stated that Sudan Pavilion reflected the human and natural resources that Sudan is rich with.

During his visit to Expo 2020 Dubai, the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council was accompanied by the Minister of Finance, Dr. Jibril Ibrahim, the acting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Ali Al-Saddiq, the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Gen. Ahmed Ibrahim Mufadal, the General Director of the Defence Industries System, Gen. Mirghani Idris, the Chairman of the Sudanese Businessmen Union, Hisham Hassan Al-Sobat, and Sudan Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Sudan, Hamad Mohamed Al-Junaibi.
