The Higher Voluntary Return Committee at Bau area, the Blue Nile State, has finalized all the arrangements to launch the campaign receive the refugees, returnees and displaced people coming from South Sudan State, Ethiopia and other localities and states.

In a statement to SUNA, the Secretary General of the Committee for Peace, Rehabilitation and Peaceful Co-Existence in the Blue Nile State, Abdul-Ghani Degais Khalifa, indicated that the final arrangements to receive the returnees are progressing satisfactorily, adding that all the branch committees have started carrying out their tasks, with a big participation of the political and societal leaders, native administration, youth, women and students.

Khalifa said that the society of Bau Locality will provide a model to be followed in solidarity and cooperation and will pave the way for rehabilitation of the war-affected areas.

He stated that efforts are continuing to implement the Juba agreement for peace in Sudan on the ground and to boost the societal stability so that all citizens can contribute to the production process.
