Khartoum, March 1 (SUNA)- Member of the Transitional Sovereign Council Aisha Mousa Al-Saeed has commended the great development being witnessed by the bilateral relations between Sudan and Egypt and the cooperation between the two countries in the field of electricity interconnection and the railways. This came when she received at the Republican Palace Sunday the Egyptian Ambassador to Khartoum, Hussam Eissa. The ambassador, briefing the member of the Transitional Sovereign Council, affirmed that the electricity interconnection between Egypt and Sudan has already started with a capacity of 50 megawatts, saying that it would reach 300 megawatts by the end of the year after installations of all the necessary equipment in the Sudanese power network. He pointed out that the Sovereign Council’s member affirmed readiness of the Sudanese government to extend all facilities for the success of the joint project
