Kabbashi meets ambassadors of Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Egypt

Khartoum,   (SUNA) – Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Gen. Shams-Eddin Kabbashi  Ibrahim received today at the Republican Palace the ambassadors  of the states of the Gulf Cooperation Council   to Sudan and the Egyptian Ambassador to Khartoum  in  the  presence of Undersecretary of Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nadir Yousif  and the Director of Arab Department at the Ministry Ambassador Mansour Bulad.

During the meeting, the TSC Member briefed the ambassadors on the overall developments in the country particularly the recent incidents in Genaina town besides the humanitarian consequences resulted from the incidents.

The ambassadors expressed their appreciation to TSC member for the information he provided on the current situation in Sudan.

The Egyptian ambassador to Khartoum, Husam Eisa, pointed out in a press statement on behalf of the ambassadors that they received during the meeting thorough briefing on the incidents that occurred in the few past days in Genaina town.

He added that the ambassadors of Gulf Cooperation Council countries and Egypt affirmed full support of their countries to Sudan during this important period , the Sudan is going through, affirming readiness to provide assistance and support, in the humanitarian, medical and pharmaceutical fields.

The Egyptian ambassador explained that the meeting assured continuation of contacts during these critical circumstances adding that the ambassadors expressed their deepest condolences to the families of the victims and to the Sudanese people in general.
