Kabbashi Affirms Sudan’s Keenness to Consolidate Relations with Kuwait

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council(TSC) Gen. Shams-Eddin Kabbashi  has emphasized keenness of government of Sudan  to cement bilateral relations with State of Kuwait  and to push further fields of cooperation by a way that  meets aspirations of people of the two countries.

The TSC member  commended during his meeting at the Republican Palace yesterday with Kuwaiti ambassador to Sudan , Bassam Al Qabandi, the pioneering role being played  by Kuwait towards Sudan.

. Ambassador Bassam Al-Qabandi said, in a press statement, that the meeting discussed ways to support joint cooperation and advance the relations of the two countries to broader horizons, describing the Sudanese-Kuwaiti relations as distinguished , strong and solid, and added, “This meeting comes as a confirmation of this distinguished relationship and the two countries’ keenness on its continuity and development in all fields.” .

Ambassador Bassam indicated that the TSC member  conveyed his greetings to the Emir of the State of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, wishing him good health and wellness, and congratulating him on his safe return from the treatment trip.

. The Kuwaiti ambassador reiterated his country’s keenness to promote and strengthen its relations with Sudan, expressing his hope that Sudan would witness more stability, development and peace which, in turn , would contribute to the stability of neighboring countries and the region.
