Kabashi receives head of UNITAMS

Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC)Member Gen. Shamas Eddin Kabashi received today at his office in the Republican Palace  Dr. Volker Perthes Head of the United Nations Integrated Transition Assistance Mission in Sudan.(UNITAMS)

The meeting was attended by Head of National Committee for coordinating with the mission, Ambassador Omar Al-Sheikh.

Meanwhile the meeting discussed cooperation and coordination between Sudan’s government and the mission.

Gen kabashi expressed his pleasure for meeting with Dr. Volker.

Moreover he affirmed that Sudan welcomes the mission, and promises to provide all possible assistance required to facilitate the work of the mission.
