Irrigation ministry reviews Saudi Arabia100 millions- grant

The Ministry of Irrigation and Water Resources reviewed today at (SUNA) forum the details of the100 milloion dollars- grant  provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the ministry.

The Director General of Dams Implementation Unit (DIU)  at the ministry, Dr. Nur Al-Eddin Adam said, the Saudi grant was provided through Saudi Bank for Development, following the Glorious December Revolution.

Meanwhile, Dr. Adam expressed his thanks to His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz and his Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the Kingdom’s government.

He added that the grant started by  the provision of $100 million that has to be distributed through five years,announcing the start of the project with implementing 500 water stations located at various regions against the grant at a cost of $54 million.

Dr. Nur Eddin explained that the first and the second packages would be implemented by two Saudi Arabia companies in 13 states while the third package would be implemented by another company.
