 The Consulate General of Sudan in Benghazi, in coordination with the International Organization for Migration and the concerned authorities, have completed arrangements for the voluntary return of 160 Sudanese citizens from Libya through the voluntary return flight that will depart from Tobruk Airport in Libya at noon on Tuesday, in the second flight of voluntary return during the year 2023, out of six Trips scheduled in the current year.

There was a return flight on February 28, 2023, with more than 150 Sudanese citizens on board, bringing the total number of returnees to more than 300 Sudanese citizens during the period from February of this year until now.

The Consul General of Sudan in Benghazi and Plenipotentiary, Abdul-Rahman Mohamed Rahmatalla, affirmed that the voluntary repatriation flights will continue according to the program set for the year 2023, urging all the Sudanese people in the eastern region of Libya to settle their immigration status.

He called on those who were unable to do so, to benefit from these trips to return to Sudan to contribute to the construction process.
