FM Meets Nigerian Ambassador

Khartoum (SUNA) – The Acting Foreign Minister, Omar Gammar Edeen Ismail received, Sunday, at his office, the Nigerian Ambassador to Khartoum Musa Saban on the occasion of the expiry of his term of office in Sudan.

The Ambassador affirmed the firmness of the relations between the two countries, affirming his country’s keenness to scale up cultural and trade relations and the presence of more than 5,000 Nigerian students in the Sudanese universities.

The Nigerian diplomat has congratulated the Transitional government on the occasion of signing the peace agreement, confirming the importance of Sudan’s stability and its impact on the African continent as a whole.

The Minister, on his turn, affirmed the historical relations between Sudan and Nigeria, affirming Sudan’s keenness to develop these relations for the interest of the people of the two countries.
