Ethiopian State Minister for Foreign Affairs Hails Sudanese – Ethiopian Relations

The Ethiopian State Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hirut Zemene, has appreciated firmness of the relations between Sudan and Ethiopia.

During her reception Friday to a delegation of the Council for International People’s Friendship (SUNA), she referred to the recent visits of the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Fattah Al-Burhan, and the Prime Minister, Dr. Abdalla Hamdok, to Ethiopia for cementing the relations between Sudan and Ethiopia.

She affirmed the keenness of Ethiopia to strengthen further its relations with Sudan.

The Ethiopian minister has underscore importance of the economic transformation taking place in both Sudan and Ethiopia.

Hirut said that she is delighted on operation of the Ethiopian Airways between Sudan and Ethiopia, referring to the various common cultures in the two countries.

The Speaker of the Ethiopian Parliament, Tagesse Chaffo, has praised the deeply rooted ties between Sudan and Ethiopia in all fields, indicating that his country is maintaining good relations, trade exchange and cooperation in the tourism field with all the African countries.
