Energy Minister Heads Ministerial Committee Meeting on Drugs and Fuel

Khartoum, -The Ministerial Committee a signed to follow-up the daily supplies of fuel and drugs held its first meeting Tuesday noon at Council of Ministers’ General Secretariat Premises.

The meeting was headed by minister of energy and mining Eng. Adil Ibrahim who explained in press conference that the committee discussed its working methodology describing the quantities of drugs, fuel and its derivatives as tranquil.

He added that the ministry of energy and mining had set long term plan aimed at following up the flow of petroleum martials and solving problems related to distribution and transport bottleneck in collaboration with concern parties.

For his part manager of Medical Supplies National Fund Dr. Abdel Rahman Mohamed AL Gaali assured availability of drugs imported by the fund. He explained that the average of drugs availability and the national program consumption estimated at 94 percent.

The meeting recommended the formation of subcommittee to diagnose the reasons behind the crisis and means of solving it.
