Daglo Calls on Sheikhs of Khalawi (Quranic schools) to Discard Tribalism and Regionalism

Genaina,  (SUNA) – Vice – President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, has called on the Sheikhs of Khalawi (Quranic schools) to work honestly in spreading Da’awa, guiding and advising people and urging them to stop fighting, smuggling, sabotage and disputes, and to accept the other and to avoid hatred and animosity.

During his visit Monday, accompanied by the members of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Dr. Al-Hadi Idris and Al-Taher Hajar, and the Wali (governor) of West Darfur State, to Mabrouka Khalawi (Quranic schools) in Genaina, Gen. Daglo appreciated the role of the Khalawi sheikhs in disseminating Islamic Da’awa and the holy Quran recitation to the sons of Muslims.

He stressed the necessity of urging people to follow the Islamic rules that forbid stirring up sedition and hatred among the Islamic nation, affirming the adherence to the Holy Quran and the Sunnah, called for teaching the lofty patriotic values to the sons since their childhood.

Daglo announced his donation of two water wells to be dig at Quarter 13 in Genaina city, stressing that services will not be available during wars, fighting and tribal disputes.
