Daglo Calls on East Darfur Citizens to Abandon Disputes

President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lt. Gen. Mohamed Hamdan Daglo, has called on the Sudanese people to stick to wisdom, reject disputes, accept the others, abandon hatred and racism and to unite their word to bring the country to safety.

Addressing a mass rally at the Freedom Square in De’ain on Wednesday, Lt. Gem. Daglo stressed that the government of the transitional period is determined to achieve peace and implement the Juba Peace Agreement.

He said that all the crises that Sudan is facing are on their way to be solved and that the government of the transitional period is working in harmony to take the country to safety and to exploit the abundant resources, adding that the government is keen for the return of the displaced persons and refugees to their home villages and to involve them into the cycle of production.

Lt. Gen. Daglo pointed out that the government is aware of aware of the suffering and what the citizens conditions, stressing that the government will work with peace partners to achieve their aspirations for electricity, water and other needs.

He affirmed that peace requires support and protection.

He renewed call on Abdul-Wahid Nur and Al-Hillo to join the peace process and to work with the others for achieving progress and prosperity in Sudan.
